Just a reminder that beginning July 6th, all bags of garbage put to the curb for residential garbage pick up must have a municipally issued bag tag affixed to it.

The Municipality of Meaford was kind enough a few days ago to post a list of "Bag Tag Vendors" on their website.

Why do we have to pay to have our garbage picked up?
Why isn't this cost covered in our ever increasing and outrageous property tax?
We live in the Mun. of Meaford and pay almost $4000 in taxes and we can't have 1 bag of garbage per week picked up????
